In earlier times, the farmer’s wife or the landlady prepared all kinds of delicious food and delicacies in the soot-blackened kitchen next to the dining area. The dishes were then put through a closeable, narrow hole in the wall (a so-called “Kuchabalkla”) into the dining room for the people to feast on.

Today, the quality of the Tyrolean cuisine is the same as then. And is further improved with a great serving of love, tradition and engagement.
